Generates a password from your browser’s cryptographic random source, with control over length and character sets. Nothing is transmitted, logged or stored — reload the page and the password is gone.
Runs entirely in your browser
A strong password is long and unpredictable, and the reliable way to get both is to let a machine choose it at random rather than inventing one yourself. This generator builds a password from your browser’s cryptographic random source — the same class of randomness used for encryption keys — so the result has no pattern a human or a cracking tool can anticipate. You control the length and which character sets to include, from all-lowercase passphrase style to the full mix of upper, lower, digits and symbols.
Everything happens locally. The password is generated in your browser and is never transmitted, logged or stored anywhere; reload the page and it is gone. That matters because a password sent to a server to be “generated” is a password a server has seen — which defeats the purpose. Here, only you ever see it.
For accounts you actually use, the strongest approach is a long random password stored in a password manager, so you never have to remember or retype it. Reserve memorable passphrases for the few secrets you must type by hand, such as the master password to the manager itself, and make those long.
