Payment gateway fee & invoice calculator

Payment processors like Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay and Wise take a cut of every transaction, so the amount you invoice is not the amount you receive. This calculator works backwards from the net payout you want: it computes the gross amount to charge a client so that, after the processor’s fee, you are left with exactly your target.

That reverse calculation is genuinely useful and easy to get wrong — you cannot simply add the fee percentage to your target, because the fee is charged on the higher gross amount, so you have to gross up correctly. Getting it right means you actually receive what you intended rather than coming up a little short every time.
