Image background remover

Remove a uniform background from an image and get a clean transparent PNG cutout — useful for product photos on a white backdrop, logos, and portraits shot against a solid colour. It works by detecting a background colour and erasing it, with an adjustable tolerance so you can control how much of a near-matching colour is removed.

Because it targets solid or near-solid backgrounds rather than using heavy AI, it is fast, predictable and entirely private: the image is processed on a canvas in your browser and the cutout is downloaded straight from memory, with no cloud upload. That makes it ideal for images you would rather not send to an online service.

Use it to place a product on any background, to make a logo usable over colour, or to prepare a portrait for a design. The tolerance control lets you clean up edges where the subject and background colours are close.
